As twilight falls over the forest, a full moon rises and our thoughts are drawn to the tranquil pools of the mind.
With its strong vertical lines, curves and jewel like colours, this original painting is reminiscent of the Art Deco period. Painted by Carol Barnwell in acrylics on cotton canvas ‘By the Light of the Moon’ is framed in a darkly stained floating frame. It depicts a full moon rising over a waterfall that cascades down into a tranquil pool that meanders through a tall forest. The painting measures 610 mm x 610mm
